The “Forgotten Cornwall” as it is known is truly magical. Wiggle Barn is beautifully positioned in a relaxing scenic spot away from the bustle of tourists in the summer holiday period but also within easy access of all the many activities that this part of Cornwall has to offer making it the perfect English getaway with so much to do. It is why we are repeat visitors and will continue to return.

Katie Gartshore,

Fabulous place to stay. The views down the church are gorgeous and the walks from it are gorgeous. We managed to walk to kingsand in about 30 minutes (longer back up the hill) and the local buses and taxis were great. Maker Heights has pizzas, cocktails and the gorgeous canteen restaurant and we went there most days as only a ten minute walk.

We were there in winter and the house was so cosy with the underfloor heating and wood burner it was gorgeous. It has a proper kitchen and dining set up (inside and out) so it never felt cramped with six of us.

Will be back!

Mair Williams,

Absolutely amazing stay at this holiday cottage in Cornwall!
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth and charm of the property. The cottage is incredibly dog-friendly, with a lovely, enclosed garden. It’s clear that the hosts have thought of everything – there were even dog bed and bowls provided, which made us feel so welcome.

The amenities were top-notch. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the living areas were spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The barn itself was spotless and had a lovely homely feel. We especially loved the large windows that let in so much natural light and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

The hosts were exceptional – incredibly friendly and attentive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like they truly cared about making our experience special. The location was also perfect – peaceful and serene, yet close to all the best Cornish beaches, charming villages, and local attractions.
Highly recommend, we will be returning this summer.

Abby Jefferies,

We have visited Wiggle Barn for the last 3 years. It is a beautiful house with everything you need for a great Holiday. Beds are sooo comfy and the kids loved the bunk beds and seeing the cows in the fields each morning. There are breathtaking views everywhere you go, especially taking a walk down to Kingsand and Cawsand. The towns have great pubs and restaurants and an excellent taxi services if you don’t fancy the walk back. It’s very close to Maker Heights which has lots of eating out options and even has a cocktail bar. Beaches are dotted all over the place, so lots to pick from and there are loads of dog friendly ones as well. It’s also great for using as a base camp to visit both Devon and Cornwall, Looe is a must and Newquay is only about an hour away.
We’ve also done Go Karting at Adrenaline Quary and the Monkey Sanctuary which are both 20 min drive away
Tip if you can, get the car Ferry from Plymouth kids Love it!
Thanks again for a wonderful stay, can’t wait to come back!
